Mr. Zhuang Jiahan, Major of Xiamen, Mr. Han Jingyi, Deputy Mayor of Xiamen and, Mr. Lin Chongyang, Huli District Mayor, paid a visit to Xiamen Baotuo Resources Co., Ltd. and explored the company's operational conditions to coordinate on the addressing of difficulties the company was facing.

Mr. Wang Weiwen, President of Xiamen Hengxing Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhang Bin, Chairman of Baotuo, introduced the company's basic situations and operation status to the leadership team during their visit. Xiamen Baotuo Resources Co., Ltd. is a large-scale comprehensive trading company controlled by Hengxing, specializing in bulk commodity trading, import and export business. In 2018, its trade volume hit 12.6 billion yuan, rated as Huli District Headquarters Group for four consecutive years. Among the total volume, the annual export of coke exceeded 1 million tons, placed the top in the country.

Mayor Zhuang expressed his concern about the influence of Sino-US trade friction weighing on Baotuo. The company had no trade ties with US companies and therefore spared direct impact, as President Wang indicated. However, exchange rate fluctuations still exert a relatively great impact on the profit and loss of the business. In case of this, Mayor Zhuang encouraged Baotuo to firmly hold its confidence in development and effectively take countermeasures against the international situation and market changes to enhance its competitive edges.

Mayor Zhuang also inquired into the problems faced by Baotuo in its current stage of operation, and instructed relevant departments to implement research and resolution.

After the visit, Mayor Zhuang, Vice Mayor Han, and District Major Lin took a group photo with President Wang and Chairman Zhang to mark the occasion.
